About Keen & Company

Walking alongside you, working side-by-side with you:  through conflict, transition, celebration, and growth.

I meet you where you are , with clarity & care.
Bringing perspective to complex decisions and care for the humans making them.
Side-by-side presence, sharp & grounded. Guided by a belief in the power of companionship, this practice is shaped by commitment, it is rooted in deep experience, comfortable in quiet yet keen observation, and strengthened by values that shape community.

Precision, Presence, Purpose

Keen & Company was born from a simple truth I have lived and witnessed again and again: people do their best, hardest, and most transformative work when someone is genuinely beside them — not ahead of them, not behind them, but side by side, present for the whole of it.

This practice is the formalization of work I have always done naturally, walking alongside individuals, families, leaders, and communities through conflict, confusion, transition, and growth; and the recognition that this kind of accompaniment deserves to exist as a real, sustainable, and generative enterprise.

As this practice grows, so does my capacity to serve more in my community, more small business owners, more people in conflict, more individuals navigating seasons of life that feel unmanageable alone.

Beyond the immediate work, Keen & Company is the first step in a larger vision: a platform that creates freedom that changes what is possible across a lifetime and beyond; and that becomes the foundation from which future ventures can grow, each rooted in the same values of care, community, and the deep belief that the most sustainable things on earth are those built slowly, tended faithfully, and shared generously. This is the beginning.

What the work together can look like...

Sometimes people arrive knowing exactly what they need. More often they arrive knowing something isn't working and trusting that we'll figure out the rest together. Here's what that has looked like in practice:

A small business owner overwhelmed by their own inbox, behind on invoicing, and losing sleep over a partnership that had quietly soured; we untangled the operations, cleared the backlog, and sat with the harder conversation until there was a way through it.

A nonprofit director who had been managing a board conflict alone for eight months, absorbing it so his staff wouldn't feel it; we brought the right people into the room, named what was actually happening, and helped everyone leave with something they could work with.

A woman in her mid-fifties, recently retired, whose days had lost their shape; not in crisis, just untethered. We met weekly, built a structure around what she actually wanted her life to look like, and stayed with it until it held on its own.

A founder preparing to have the conversation with his co-founder that he'd been avoiding for two years; we prepared together, walked through it, and he didn't have to do it alone.

A leader promoted into a role they wanted for years, who suddenly wasn't sure they were the right person for it; we worked through what was real and what was fear, and they found their footing.

A team that had spent years grinding through a pandemic, a restructure, and a staff turnover, they were all still quietly grieving; we took a retreat together for a few days, into the landscape that surrounds us here in the Sonoran Desert. Art-making, not as an icebreaker but as a way back into the body and into each other. Time outside, unhurried, with the particular kind of silence that the desert offers when you stop moving enough to hear it. Honest conversation that wouldn't have happened in a conference room, and by the end of our time something had loosened in the group. They didn't leave with a strategic plan. They left remembering why they had chosen this work and each other , which turned out to be exactly what they needed to move forward.

This is the work. It doesn't always have a clean category. Sometimes it's operational, sometimes it's relational, sometimes it lives right at the edge of both. What stays the same is the approach: sharp thinking, genuine presence, and staying until something shifts.

Place: Rooted Here

Desert Plant Garden

The work I do is grounded in the specific landscape and community of the Sonoran Desert. Tucson and Bisbee aren't just coordinates; they are the context that shapes how we listen, how we observe, and how we accompany each other. This place requires a certain kind of resilience and an eye for the quiet growth that happens when you stay put. Keen & Company is rooted here, committed to the long-term health and vibrancy of our local business and cultural ecosystems.
